My academic research primarily focuses on brand perception and consumer-brand interactions. In a different stream of research, I investigate lonely consumers' reliance on smartphones and the downstream consequences thereof.

The goals of my research are to 1) understand the effect of situational/brand-based factors in consumer decision-making, 2) examine the lengths consumers will go to support brands that align with their values, and 3) how situational factors, like loneliness, affect consumer choices down the road.
